Who I Work With

I work with people who are ready to look beyond symptom management and explore the bigger picture of their health. People dealing with chronic pain, fatigue, digestive concerns, hormonal changes, stress, or a general sense that something is off — and who want a practitioner who will take the time to understand their full story.

My Philosophy

I believe health is shaped by the conditions surrounding it. Nutrition, movement, rest, stress, environment, relationships, and the way we care for the body all influence our capacity to adapt and thrive. Naturopathic wellness, therapeutic bodywork, and coaching are tools I use to help clients better understand those connections and create meaningful, sustainable change. Your health — green, growing, and full of life — is the goal.

My Background

My path into this work was shaped by my own experience navigating chronic health challenges and wanting to understand more about the nutrition, lifestyle, and environmental factors that conventional visits rarely have time to explore. That curiosity led me to naturopathic wellness and medical massage therapy — and to a deep belief that people deserve care that looks at the whole picture.

My journey into natural health

My life revolves around family, food, and nature. I am a passionate advocate for natural wellness and understanding how the pieces of our health connect — a wife, mother of five, and a grandma. My mission is to share the knowledge and experiences gained from my own health journey with others, helping them take charge of their well-being and make more informed choices about the food they put on their plates.

My journey toward this path began in 2006 when I was diagnosed with Hashimoto's Thyroiditis. At just 26 years old, with two young kids, I faced chronic fatigue and pain. Conventional medicine provided important support — but I found myself wanting to better understand the role of nutrition, lifestyle, stress, and environment in what I was experiencing. Around the same time, my eldest daughter was diagnosed with ADHD, and I began exploring what else might be contributing to how we both felt.

That curiosity led me deep into books on health, nutrition, and the realities of our modern food system. I was struck by how much the quality and sourcing of food could influence how we feel. Determined to make a change, we gradually transformed our diet — embracing cleaner, whole foods and reducing processed options. As our family's relationship with food changed, I became increasingly interested in the connection between nutrition, environment, lifestyle, and well-being.

My own health journey continued — weight, pain, and fatigue remained persistent challenges. In 2015, after three more pregnancies, I made a deeper commitment to understanding what my body needed. I focused on food quality, targeted supplementation, and lifestyle changes. That experience opened my eyes to how few accessible, personalized options exist for people seeking this kind of support.

Anyone who lives with a chronic condition knows there will always be ebbs and flows. To this day, my journey continues. I still have flares and have to course-correct — which means I am as much on this road as my clients are. That lived experience shapes everything about how I practice.

Five Sprouts Family Farm

Today I balance my wellness practice and ongoing education while managing our small, non-certified organic farm. The farm is a living extension of everything I believe about food, land, and health. Caring for the soil, growing nourishing food, and living close to nature continually reinforce the same principle that guides Verdant: health grows best when its foundations are well cared for.
