My Approach

Naturopathic wellness, medical massage therapy, and integrative coaching — working together to restore the conditions for health.

A practice built on understanding the whole picture

Every person's health story is different. My role as a Naturopath, Licensed Massage Therapist, and Health Coach is to listen to that story carefully — to understand not just what is happening in your body, but how different aspects of your health and lifestyle may be connected. That means looking at nutrition, sleep, stress, movement, relationships, purpose, and the physical structure of your body itself.

I do not arrive at a session with a predetermined plan. I arrive with wellness education, therapeutic skill, and genuine curiosity about your unique situation. Together we explore the patterns and factors that may be influencing your health, identify areas where greater support may help restore balance, and develop realistic, sustainable steps forward.

My naturopathic work is evidence-informed — drawing on nutrition science, herbal medicine, and lifestyle medicine. My massage therapy is outcome-focused — using clinical techniques to address musculoskeletal pain, soft-tissue dysfunction, and recovery. And my coaching approach ensures that wellness recommendations translate into lasting behavioral change.

I believe each person is their own expert on their lived experience. My goal is for every client to leave knowing more about their body and health than when they arrived — and with a clearer sense of what steps will make the most difference.

Principles that guide my practice

Colorful balanced plate with organic vegetables, whole grains, and high-quality proteins

The Integrative Plate

Food is nourishment — but it is only one dimension of health. The Integrative Plate model looks at the quality and variety of what we eat: organic produce, whole grains, high-quality proteins, healthy fats, and adequate hydration. Surrounding the plate are the lifestyle factors that are equally essential — relationships, career, physical activity, and spiritual connection. In my wellness practice, we address all of these, not just what is on the fork.

People connecting and supporting each other in a joyful community setting

Bio-Individuality

No two bodies are the same. What works well for one person may be completely wrong for another — which is why generic plans and fad diets so often fall short. I work from the principle of bio-individuality: your wellness recommendations are built around your unique physiology, health history, lifestyle, and goals. There is no one-size-fits-all path to health.

Person in a fulfilling life moment — connection, purpose, and joy as nourishment

Primary Food

In integrative wellness, 'primary food' refers to the non-dietary sources of nourishment that feed our health just as powerfully as what we eat: meaningful relationships, fulfilling work, regular movement, and spiritual connection. When these areas are out of balance, no amount of dietary optimization will fully compensate. My practice addresses primary food alongside nutrition — because both matter deeply.

Abundant colorful whole foods filling a table — nourishment through abundance not restriction

Crowding Out

Rather than building a wellness plan around restriction and avoidance, I focus on abundance. When you consistently eat nutrient-dense, satisfying whole foods, there is naturally less room — physically and psychologically — for the foods that do not serve your health. This principle of crowding out is gentler, more sustainable, and far more effective than willpower-based approaches to dietary change.

Colorful array of rainbow fruits and vegetables for a varied balanced diet

Eat a Rainbow

Different colors in plant foods represent different phytonutrients — compounds with distinct anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and supportive properties. Dietary diversity is one of the most accessible tools for supporting long-term health. Eating a wide variety of colorful whole foods is not just good advice — it is foundational nutrition.

Mindful eating moment — pausing to understand what the body is asking for

Deconstructing Cravings

Cravings are not character flaws — they are signals. Persistent cravings often point to nutrient gaps, blood sugar patterns, hormonal changes, or unmet emotional needs. Learning to understand what the body is asking for — rather than simply resisting it — is a core wellness and coaching skill I bring to every client relationship.
